We, the undersigned, support Project Gateway and we encourage the leadership of Prichard to support this responsible investment that protects residents, conserves local water resources, increases our tax base, while delivering economic value creating jobs and community benefits.
Project Gateway is an opportunity for our community. It presents a modern, well-planned sustainable data center campus that can bring substantial long-term value to our community, while operating in a controlled and low-impact manner. Project Gateway is not a heavy industrial use. It is a secure, low-occupancy campus designed with proper setbacks, buffering, landscaping, design controls, and enforceable performance standards.
We urge officials to approve Project Gateway with clear enforceable conditions and confidence in the project’s long-term public benefits.
